THERMAL SCOPE IN WAR
The thermal scope is able to capture the smallest change in temperature, so the Ukrainian military can see the location and movement of the enemy even when it is almost impossible due to lack of lighting. In modern devices, the temperature fixation range is 5-10 km, that is, the defenders of Ukraine, using them, immediately see the enemy’s sabotage and reconnaissance groups and better resist Russian aggression.
The use of a thermal imager in conditions of positional warfare is also relevant, when more losses occur due to enemy sniper fire. Thanks to thermal imagers, it is possible to record the actions of the enemy from hidden positions and thus minimize losses among the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thermal imagers help to detect camouflaged faces and small silhouettes that are almost impossible to distinguish with the "eye" (for example, when only the head is visible in an enemy trench).
Thermal scope sights for machine gunners and snipers help to ensure higher shooting efficiency at medium distances, regardless of the time of day. That is, these devices are actively used both in the offensive and during defense.
